Visit the Works on Paper Fair to view and buy from leading dealers in Early, Victorian, Modern and Contemporary art, all on paper. For several of the dealers, this is the only fair they exhibit at.
The wide range of works on paper at the fair includes drawings, watercolours, original prints and posters
Prices range from under £500 up to £250,000.
The fair always features a loan exhibition of pictures not normally on display to the public. Our loan exhibition for the 2017 fair is a selection from the superb Eton College Collections.
Why Works on Paper?
"Drawing is the artist's most direct and spontaneous expression. A species of writing: it reveals, better than does painting, his true personality." - Edgar Degas
"Artists have always been attracted to the materiality of works on paper." - Donna de Salvo, chief curator of the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York
"Even when they are large in scale, drawings have an intimacy that draws one in." - Mihail Lari, Art Collector
"Never underestimate a drawing. Encapsulated within a small work on paper is often the genesis of a larger work.." - Anna Johnson , The Guardian
